In one of the dullest sessions of the 21st Century, the S&P 500 (SPX) advanced 1.49 point yesterday to close at 1197.51. TOT daily traders came into the session 200% short and have carried that position overnight and into today.
Since initiation of this service on September 30, 1993, our daily trader recommendations have gained 8605.54 cumulative SPX points, compared to a gain of 738.58 points in the index itself over the same period.
The super long term perspective for the stock market remains bearish, and it’s unlikely anything will change that for several years.
Both the long and short term models remain bearish.
The daily model is bearish today. TOT daily traders come into today’s session 200% short. Go an additional 100% short at SPX 1199 limit or at SPX 1194 stop, whichever comes first. Use a protective buy stop at SPX 1207 on the entire position. If not stopped out, carry the position overnight and into tomorrow.
Thanks for the opportunity to be of service, and I’ll email you again in 24 hours – or sooner if circumstances warrant.
