The SPX declined 10.16 points Friday to close at 980.15. TOT daily traders were on the sidelines for the session.
Since initiation of this service on September 30, 1993, our daily trader recommendations have gained 7770.71 cumulative SPX points compared to a gain of 521.22 points in the index itself over the same period.
The super long term perspective for the stock market remains bearish, and it’s unlikely anything will change that for several years.
After having been bullish since April 28 (SPX 914.84), the long term model has downticked from bullish to bearish. The short term model, which only recently downticked from bullish to neutral, has also downticked to bearish. Repeating, both the long and short term models are now bearish.
The daily model is quite bearish today. TOT daily traders are advised to go a maximally bearish 500% short at the market. Use a 15 point protective buy stop on your position. If not stopped out, carry your position overnight and into tomorrow.
Thanks for the opportunity to be of service, and I’ll email you again in 24 hours – or sooner if circumstances warrant.
