This is a 10:55 intraday update of Turov on Timing for Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
We have a tricky situation today, perhaps best exemplified by the trade I just put on for Program B managed accounts. I went 50% long the NASDAQ fund and 50% short the S&P fund. Why? Simply because the S&P looks sloppy and the NASDAQ looks good! My best “guess” is that both will go up from here, modestly in both cases, but that the NASDAQ will do better. However, since Turov on Timing is an S&P based service, it seems prudent to stand aside in that index.
Thanks for the opportunity to be of service, and I’ll email you again six hours before the start of tomorrow’s session – or sooner if circumstances warrant.
