I screwed up on today’s Turov on Timing, and I will treat the screw-up in accordance with how TOT’s readers tell me they think is right:
On the overnight message, I wrote, “The daily model is bearish today. TOT daily traders come into today’s session 200% long from SPX 2086.10. Because of the bearish daily model reading, raise the protective sell stop on the position by 5 points from SPX 2098 to SPX 2093. Also, TOT daily traders are advised to go 200% short at the same SPX 2093 stop level.”
On one hand, I said, “Because of the bearish daily model reading, raise the protective sell stop on the position by 5 points from SPX 2098 to SPX 2093”. It was a mistake caused by fatigue. I did give a reason (Because of the bearish daily model reading), and I did say “raise” and I truly meant “raise it by 5 points to 2103.” On the other hand, I did say “2093,” as illogical as that number would make the sentence.
How did YOU interpret it?
I will “go” with the majority vote received by 10:30 a.m., Eastern time.
In the meantime, TOT Daily Traders are short, regardless which interpretation is used, and I’ll update again at 10:45.
