This is an 10:42 a.m. intraday update of Turov on Timing for Thursday, November 13, 2008.
I don’t really have much to add to my overnight message. The best trade looks like a short, especially for the
NASDAQ 100. And while TOT always uses the SPX as our reference point, shorting the QQQQ’s, for instance, looks like
a better bet than shorting the SPY’s.
TOT daily traders are advised to go 100% short (that’s a minimal position) at the market at 10:45, three minutes
from now. Use a 20 point protective buy stop on the position. If not stopped out, carry the position overnight and
into tomorrow unless there is a contradictory advisory later in the day.
Thanks for the opportunity to be of service, and I’ll email you again six hours before the start of tomorrow’s
session – or sooner if circumstances warrant.
