This is a 1:00 pm intraday update of Turov on Timing for Friday, December 29, 2006.

This email affects only managed account clients

On the regular message, I stated, “All managed account clients will receive a year end message and report from me on Saturday.”

However, the Rydex website has reported, “Due to year-end processing, account access will be disabled from 4:00 PM ET Friday, December 29, 2006 until approximately 8:00 AM ET Sunday, December 31, 2006.  During this time account access will not be available for balances or trading.  Online account establishment will also be closed during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Therefore, the year end message and report to managed account clients from me will come late on Monday, New Year’s Day, January 1, instead.  The next Turov on Timing will be six hours before the start of Wednesday’s trading session.
